Led the MEL strategy for USAID’s SHOUHARDO III Plus and DRR project, ensuring a robust system and high-quality reporting for donors, government, and partners. Provided strategic oversight to a large MEAL team, developing sustainability monitoring and an innovative market-led agriculture service model. Oversaw key studies—including Baseline, Endline, ROI for Youth, and Outcome Surveys—while developing SOWs and essential MEL tools such as MEAL Plans, Logical Frameworks, Indicator Tracking Tables, PMPs, RMS, and Theories of Change. I managed and oversaw a $130 million USAID-funded multi-sectoral program (SHOUHARDO II), which targeted 370,000 poor and extremely poor households in remote and hard-to-reach areas of Bangladesh. I developed robust systems to track progress against results frameworks, MEL plans, and beneficiary tracking systems for large-scale, multi-sectoral interventions. I also enhanced the program’s capacity to capture location-specific early warning system data, improving community preparedness and responsiveness. In addition, I strengthened the capacities of regional teams in M&E, MIS, GIS, and ICT applications, and regularly prepared detailed quarterly reports to monitor progress and outcomes. The Gender and Youth Activity (GAYA)'s Cultivating Inclusion for Food Security Fellowship in Bangkok, Thailand. Teams from 10 BHA and other USAID-funded projects across the Asia region came together for this enriching experience.
Organized by Mercy Corps, the event was a true "aha" moment for me. I immersed myself in the Inclusive Resilience Qualitative Inquiry, exploring essential topics like shocks and stresses, resilience questions, context analysis tools, systems mapping, and inquiry objectives. Learning alongside our dedicated facilitator and passionate fellow colleagues from various countries made this experiences even more impactful.
This journey was an incredible opportunity to expand my knowledge, exchange ideas, and build new skills in promoting gender equality and youth inclusion in the context of food security. Throughout the fellowship, we had the privilege of learning from global experts, collaborating with fellow professionals, and reinforcing our dedication to building inclusive and resilient communities.
